Founded in November 2025, the American Legion Riders Post 50 are a family of veterans, service members, American Legion members, and Sons of The American Legion members, united by a shared passion for motorcycles, patriotism, and service to our community.
Based in Palisade, we proudly support American Legion Post 50 and work to uphold the values of The American Legion through volunteerism, charitable fundraising, veteran advocacy, and community outreach.
Our members participate in organized rides, community events, memorial services, parades, veteran support programs, and fundraising efforts that directly benefit veterans, active-duty military personnel, first responders, youth programs, and local charities. Whether we’re logging miles on a scenic ride through Western Colorado or standing in support of a veteran in need, our mission remains the same: Veterans Helping Veterans and Serving Our Community.
The American Legion Riders are perhaps best known nationally for the the annual American Legion Legacy Run, a massive multi-day cross-country motorcycle event that raises millions for the Legacy Scholarship Fund, which supports the children of fallen U.S. military personnel.
At Post 50, we believe that every mile ridden should make a difference. Through fellowship, service, and a commitment to those who have served our nation, we strive to leave our community stronger than we found it.
